Frank Ogawa Plaza
Dedicated to books, ideas, and the pleasures of literacy, the festival aims to serve the reading public, to encourage debate, and to celebrate the City of Oakland. We will host more than sixty writers leading panel discussions at the inaugural event in 2015 with subsequent years doubling and even tripling that number. All events are free and open to the public.
